Taichung News: A successor of an estate approached the Local Tax Bureau (LTB) to inquire if stamp duty is levied on the Agreement for the Partition of an Estate. According to the LTB, stamp duty equivalent to 0.1% of the real estate's value will be levied upon the signing of the Partition of Estate Agreement.
The LTB explained that when the estate is divided among successors and the successors have applied for registration with the Agreement for the Partition of the Estate, they should pay stamp duty equivalent to 0.1% of the value of the real estate when the Agreement for the Partition of the Estate is signed.
