The Wenxin Gallery of Local Tax Bureau of Taichung City Government (address: 7th Floor, No. 99, Wenxin Road, Section 2) will exhibit in December the oil paintings of Master Liau Chi-hsiung (廖吉雄) and his students from the Da Tun Community University. The exhibition will start from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, December 3 until December 27, 2012 (except weekends and national holidays). Everyone is welcomed to appreciate the show.
Master Liau Chi-hsiung, a teacher at Da Tun Community University, revealed his creative potential in his teenage. His watercolor painting "Rear Window" was one of winning entries in the Central Taiwan Art Exhibition in 1959. Master Liau set up "Shi-chi Art Association" (拾勤畫會) in 1989 and has since devoted to oil painting. He is now also teaching painting at the Da Tun Community University, guiding many of his students to fulfill the dream of depicting their beautiful life by oil paintings. Liau hopes this exhibition will attract more people to join him in the creation of art, making life even more beautiful and comfortable.
