It is fast and convenient for a citizen to use his or her Citizen Digital Certificate to inquire into the House Tax Registration Number through the Local Tax Online Reporting System (https://net.tax.nat.gov.tw), said the Local Tax Bureau of Taichung City Government.

Local Tax Bureau explained further that people can also go to the website of Local Tax Bureau, click the "Online Reporting" tab on the left bottom corner to link to the system, select House Tax—House Tax Registration Number, and enter the address that you want to search for its National House Tax Registration Number. You can make inquiry into any house without limitation to your own house(s). In addition, you can use your Citizen Digital Certificate to apply for the tax schedule(s), tax registration certificate(s), and tax payment certificate(s) for all your houses. Your tax agents can also access the system to apply for documents on your behalf. If the application is verified and approved by the system, a notice will be sent via e-mail to inform you to download and print the requested documents from the Online Reporting System, whose 24-hour service can save you from traveling and you enjoy the freedom to apply a document at any time.
