Local Tax Bureau of Taichung City Government’s Wenxin Gallery (address: 7F, No. 99, Sec. 2, Wenxin Rd., Xitun Dist.) will be hosting “Gazing Upon Art – Dual Solo Exhibition by Tsui-ying Ou and I-hsuan Chen” during June 1-29, 2017 (08:00-17:00, except weekends and national holidays). The public is welcome to attend the exhibition to appreciate their artworks.
According to painter Tsui-ying Ou, art offers people infinite room for imagination. Colors are introduced into the vacuous space, while emotions and imaginations are respectively introduced to tangible and intangible things. Artist Tsui-ying Ou’s mindset is immersed in poetry and visions of the wonderful realm of art, away from the hustle and bustle of the world and in turn enriching life. Painter I-hsuan Chen tries to express the rhythmic beauty of nature and exuberant energy of life through simple graphics, where spiritual motifs are used to represent the joy of life and remind her to keep to her original intentions by upholding the passion for creative work.
The masterpieces by these two artists form a beautiful symphony of art and life, it is hoped that they will allow the audience to appreciate the touching sentiments of art through the paintings.
