(Taichung City) According to the Taichung City Local Tax Bureau, in response to the severe outbreak of the COVID-19, the public was advised not to go to public places, wash their hands often and care for their own health. If there is a need to request for tax- related services, online applications are now available.
The Bureau said online tax-related services provided by the Bureau (https://ppt.cc/fsU8ix) are efficient including applications for comprehensive local tax service items, procedure checking for applications, text replies of application results via functions of email and attachment uploads to encourage the public to stay home and enjoy convenience at the same time.
The Bureau also said in response to the popularity of smart phones, services of the Bureau are now available on mobile devices. With either a smart phone or tablet computer, a user will be able to download the "Taichung e-Tax services app." The public is also encouraged to make use of the tax portal page of the Ministry of Finance (https://ppt.cc/fAU03x) and that of e-tax documents (https://ppt.cc/fRYR0x).
