Apply for Electronic Payment Certificate – Eco-friendly and Convenient

(Taichung News) – According to the Local Tax Bureau, Taichung City Government, in embracing the digital age, from now on the citizens may submit their deposit warrant, remittance notice, or payment certificate electronically. Once the application is successful, it can be used every year! Everyone is welcome to make use of the convenient system.

Local Tax Bureau further elaborates that, in supporting energy conservation, carbon reduction, and electronic payment certificate, citizens may pay regularly collected taxes such as vehicle license tax, house tax, and land value tax via designated account transfer, ATM, credit card, financial chip card, current and savings account, telephone transfer, online money transfer, and mobile payment apps. No hard copy payment certificates will be issued, so those who require such service should use the citizen digital certificate, business certificate, or the national health insurance card that has obtained online service registration to log onto the local tax online filing website (https//net.tax.nat.gov.tw) and apply for electronic payment certificate 3 to 5 days after the tax payment has been made. Alternatively, they can apply via the Local Tax Bureau's official website
(http://www.tax.taichung.gov.tw), or they can approach the Local Tax Bureau's various offices, fill in the application form and hand it over to the counter staff.

The Local Tax Bureau reminds the public that a verification email will be sent to the applicant, please click on the link to carry out verification within 7 days, or the application will not be completed. Furthermore, the application must be submitted 2 months before the tax collection begins. Those who fail to apply before the deadline will only be able to enjoy the service in the next tax season.
