Wenxin Gallery of Local Tax Bureau of Taichung City Government (Address: Floor 7, No.99, Sec. Wenxin Rd the Xitun Dist, Taichung City) will showcase the "impression trip" oil paintings of Qiu Ling-qiong (邱玲瓊) in May 2013. This exhibition is open to the public from 8:00 to 17:00 every day between May 1 and May 30 (except weekends and National Holidays). Everyone is welcome to appreciate her artworks.

Teacher Qiu Ling-qiong is a sensual person. She likes to pick up themes from daily life and then uses her hearty, casual, and free imagination to draw. Her creation emphasizes the relationship between light and shadow, shows objects in three-dimensional texture, and gives out a sense of spiritual substance. Her oil paintings are full of rhythm composed of points, lines, and surfaces, showing ebullient mood and vitality.

Teacher Qiu said that she feels the happiest when she picks up the brushes to paint. “The paper is limited but the world of oil painting can extend endlessly,” added Qiu.
