The “Sharing of Beauty – Kuo Huei-Lien (Ke-Ying) Oil Painting Exhibition” will be held from April 5 to April 27, 2017, at the Art Gallery of Taichung City Government Regional Taxation Bureau (Address: 7F, No. 99, Wenxin Road Section II, Xituan District). The exhibition hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (except weekend holidays and national holidays). The exhibition is open to the public.
Kuo Huei-Lien (Ke-Ying) is a renowned artist who started painting at a very young age. In 2001, she started learning “realistic painting” with Fang Chen-Yang. She then learned “figurative painting” from Liu Ming-chieh. Kuo has demonstrated her talent in painting and her works feature arts and humanity, and have won many awards in several contests.
Kuo holds that art can give people a sense of pleasure, happiness, and well-being. If you paint on a still object, you will feel that every piece of the object is the treasure of life and you just help to manifest the beauty of life.
