(Taichung) Since March 22, the Local Tax Bureau of the Taichung City Government has been accepting payments for local taxes made through the Taiwan Cleaning House, iPass Corporation, EasyCard Corporation and Gama Payment Corporation. After successfully downloading and registering on the app, tax payers can click on the function of tax payment and scan (or manually enter) the three-string code on the payment form to confirm tax payment information and complete the payment. No handling fee will be charged.
The Bureau pointed out that newly added payment apps in March include BeePay of Taiwan Cleaning House, LINE Pay Money of iPass Corporation, Easy Wallet of EasyCard Corporation and Gama Pay of Gama Payment Corporation. For information of registration, payment procedure and notices, please refer to relevant announcements made by each mobile payment operator.
The Bureau further explained, taxes accepting mobile payment methods include user permit taxes, house taxes, land value taxes, land value increment taxes, stamp taxes, deed taxes and amusement taxes levied by the Taichung City Government but exclude payments made to cases of transfer enforcement, fines and overdue, lump payments of stamp tax and automatic declaration and payment of amusement taxes with online application.
