(Taichung News) The Local Tax Bureau (LTB) launched the first Heping cross-region video 8-in-1 service in the country, citizens in the Lishan District may access services including taxation, legal affairs, Hakka affairs, execution, motor vehicles registration, social welfare, civil affairs and land administration through the video service stations in the Lishan and Pingdeng Borough Office to enjoy quick and convenient integrated services. The platform is designed to improve the quality of public service.
According to LTB Director-General Shen, the bureau has already consolidated services that are closely related to the lives of citizens living in the Heping Area by implementing the first 5-in-1 taxation, motor vehicles registration, social welfare, civil affairs and land administration video service. To offer more diversified services, legal affairs, Hakka affairs and execution were incorporated to form the 8-in-1 service platform, catering to the needs of indigenous townships more closely and avoiding citizens from making long trips. Besides 130 services such as re-issuance of the tax bill, change of address, income and properties information as well as tax concession and reduction, the LTB also provides services including taxpayers' rights protection, assistance in deferred tax payment/tax payment in installments, assistance in vehicle inspection, license plate cancellation and scrapping of vehicles.
Legal services include video mediation and legal assistance; Hakka affairs service includes Hakka language certification incentive application, Hakka language certification exam online registration and Hakka club activity subsidy application; Execution service includes execution procedure consultation, installment application, reissuance of payment notice and property status declaration. The public in Lishan District may make use of the services through the video service stations in the Lishan and Pingdeng Borough Office.
