Taichung Local Tax Bureau indicated that the land value tax statements of 2013 have all been dispatched; if the total value is under NTD 20,000, the tax payer can pay the amount at local convenient stores, including 7-11, Family Mart, OK and Hi-Life from the morning of October 27th to midnight of December 4th, 2013 without any handling fee.
The Bureau appeals that such paper statements shall be delivered to taxpayers before the date of payment according to Tax Law; if any land tax payer has not received the statement by the end of October, one should apply for a reissue at a local tax office.
The Bureau reminds all tax payers that according to current law, the land value is adjusted every 3 years and this year happens to be the adjusting year; in addition, all public facilities have been updated and real estate transactions have been popular after Taichung city being upgraded as a municipal city. Therefore the land value has been adequately increased, especially for the industrial and commercial prosperous area.
