Tickets for 2013 Tax Day Concert to Begin Exchange Soon

Local Tax Bureau of Taichung City Government will celebrate the 2013 Tax Day at the Fulfillment Amphitheatre at 19:00 on July 6 (Saturday). The event will be held together with a folk song concert, in which many famous singers will be invited, including Xiao Huang-qi (蕭煌奇), Yin Cheng-yang (殷正洋), Wang Meng-lin (王夢麟), Zeng Shu-qin (曾淑勤), and Ye Jia-xiu (葉佳修).Our citizens are cordially invited to enjoy a cozy and nostalgic night together.

On the morning of June 11, the Local Tax Bureau held a press conference at the atrium of Wenxin Building of New Taichung City Hall located onTaiwan Boulevard. Deputy Mayor Tsai Bing-kun (蔡炳坤), singer Zeng Shu-qin, and Director-general Tsai Qi-ming (蔡啟明)of Local Tax Bureau were invited to sing together Kapok Road (木棉道),a classic folk song, to warm up the coming event. Their singing brought back the memories of those innocence years to the audience.

Local Tax Bureau said that our citizens can exchange 3 Uniform Invoices (issued in May-June, 2013) for 1 ticket at any one of the 8 branch offices of Local Tax Bureau during the period between June 19 and 21. Every citizen is entitled to get 4 free tickets at the maximum. A bag of rice will be given to the first 50 citizens that will have completed the ticket exchange procedure at a branch office. Deputy Mayor Tsai said all the invoices collected from the events will be donated to social welfare organizations and citizens are urged to participate in this meaningful public welfare event.

Moreover, there will be a series of online activities between June 4 and 30. For example, those who vote for 5 best chorus songs for the Tax Day Concert may win a small gift or a ticket. Those who correctly answer all the questions posted on the fan page of "Easy Tax School" may win a Ukulele fiddle.
