In March, the Wenxin Gallery of Local Tax Bureau of Taichung City Government (Address: Floor 7, No.99, Sec. 2, Wenxin Rd., Xitun Dist., Taichung City) will feature the artworks of members of Taichung City Thousand Miles Calligraphy and Painting Society (臺中市千里書畫學會). The exhibition is on between March 1andMarch 28, from8:00 am to17:00 pm daily (excluding weekends and national holidays). Everyone is cordially invited.
The 12-year-oldThousand Miles Calligraphy and Painting Society is mainly composed of art students from the community universities in Taichung City or the trainees of private studios. Most of them are housewives and retirees from the public sector and most of them have committed to color inking, painting, and gouache painting for years. The artworks exhibited this time are their masterpieces created by application of Chinese and Western aesthetic concepts and techniques.
Everyone is sincerely welcome to appreciate the artworks at the Wenxin Gallery of Local Tax Bureau to show support and encouragement to the exhibitors.
