The Local Tax Bureau said that, to provide citizens with the access to tax filing services at home, it has launched a full range of online services on its official website , including online application, progress inquiry, case finalization with SMS, case progress email notification, and attachment uploading services. The purpose is to enable citizens to enjoy excellent services as if they are at the counter without having to leave home, and all citizens are welcome to utilize these online services.
The Local Tax Bureau further explained that, following the wide-adoption of mobile devices and the increased usage of the internet, the Bureau is now offering “Online Meeting-Based Tax Invoice and Notice Reissue Service”. This service enables house, land and vehicle owners, with the meeting function of LINE or SKYPE, to have their house tax, land value tax payment invoice, and, during the tax imposition period, license tax, house tax, and land value tax payment notice of the term reissued. Without needing to leave home or submit any paperwork, users can receive a tax payment notice or payment invoice within 10 minutes.
